Statement from the 10 Companerxs Regarding the End of the Hunger Strike

On February 21st, we initiated an indefinite hunger strike against the repressive institutions that keep us locked up under the farce known as the “Bombs Case”, after 65 days of starvation we have decided to end our hunger strike.

As a result of this prolonged fast, thanks to the defense and the unconditional solidarity from comrades of diverse beliefs and places, we have gained some victories completely and others partially: We must be clear, the end of the anti-terrorism law does not happen because some friends die of starvation in the prisons. Do not confuse this as one repressive situation, this is a collective problem that concerns not only us as current prisoners, but all of us as combative figures who assume a part in the anti-capitalist struggle. This is why your solidarity with us intertwines with your revolutionary interests.

1) 5 of the accused, 2 of who have been labeled leaders of the fictitious illicit terrorist association had their preventative measures changed by the court of appeals, openly questioning the application of the anti-terrorist law. (18.314)

2) An end to the investigation and therefore a shortening of the time before an actual trial.

3) An improvement in the conditions and visitations of the prisoners.

4) The denunciation of the montage- in various instances during the hunger strike the prosecutor’s farce was exposed and made visible and tensions within the powerful players- human rights institutions, the church, etc. who have reported that the “Caso Bombas” will fall like house of cards.

5) In regards to the anti-terrorist law, the end of the secret witnesses, and the unanimous vote in the court of appeals for release from preventative imprisonment; we have succeeded in starting 3 law projects for the modifications of law 18.314 and the creation of a work group to find evidence of a frame up and the lengthening of the process as well as maneuverings inside the interior ministry and security in conjunction with the southern prosecution in order to annihilate every rebellious intent.

This movement can not be exempt from self criticism, but it should be taken into account that the hunger strike was carried out under a regimen of isolation, allowing for only few instances of conversation and an exchange of analysis and responses, not in just any jail, but in the M.A.S. (high security prison) and the S.E.A.S. (special section of high security). Another obstacle has been the different positions within the same hunger strike, some objectives that were a priority for some were not for others and vice versa. This led to erratic and complex demeanor, filled with questions and inconsistencies, up until the last minute the different positions discussed whether to continue the hunger strike or not, however despite the differences an agreement was reached between comrades to end the mobilization the 26th of April, 2011.

We call for continued agitation for all imprisoned comrades in every corner of the planet, go with our spirit and revolutionary greetings.

Finally we want to recognize each gesture of solidarity across the world as a sincere support of conflict against authority.

However, we should remain alert, “Caso Bombas” has not ended and we should not let our guard down.

An embrace to all of those who rebel against submission

Andrea, Monica, and Omar Released to House Arrest-Cristian Charges Partially Dismissed

Today, the court revoked the preventative detention of 3 more comrades. The judge granted the defense request and accepted the change of injunction to Omar Hermosilla, Andrea Urzua and Monica Caballero.

For Omar and Andrea, the prosecution did not oppose conditional release, while it opposed it for Monica, because she is charged with placing explosive devices. However, the judge ruled conditional release earlier this month for both Rodolfo and Pablo, 2 alleged leaders of the “illicit association”, therefore the court had to release Monica as well.

Two comrades remain in prison, Felipe Guerra and Francisco Solar, whose hearing will be Wednesday in the Court of Appeals.

Cristian Cancino was granted partial dismissal for charges related to possession of explosive materials. He is still being charged as a member of an “illicit association”.

Solidarity action for political prisoners in Greece (C.C.F, R.S.) and Chile-(Lublin, Poland)

“It doesn’t matter that you ever reach the skies.
The most important is that you never should stop dreaming about it.”

At night, 27.04, we carry out small symbolic action of solidarity using paint bombs. We attacked the bank which is placed about 100 meters from police station. Throught this action we want to express our Solidarity and respect to each anarchist political prisoner, especially in Greece and Chile. Those who holds heavy consequences of their own political choices with pride and honour and do not bend under prison repression. Those who probably suffer painful tension between their family life and way of rebel which decided to follow.

We also took this action to celebrate May Day, instead powerless manifestations own weakness by marching in small groups of activists on Polish streets that day.

We refuse the realities of live in this country, where gloomy patriotic-catholic tradition teaches people to see enemies in another, neighboring nations instead of in capitalist elites, which rule everyday life. We don’t bother about catastrophe in Smolensk and hysteria of masses who despair that they lost their lords.

Unemployment or work, which makes you unhappy – or even worse: you feel happy when you can pay rent, bills and food. Work-emigration of thousands young people which are forced to looking for the way to survive, lack of money in the public sector and at the same moment government transfers money to the Polish Army which occupies the arab world (Iraq, Afghanistan) – this is really fucking catastrophe and misery of this system – the colorful, empty bubble. The existential emptiness, lack of generational identity and lack of life purpose are suppressed by alcohol, drugs, television celebrities and thoughtless fun.

We oppose to the Wojtyla pope (so-called “John Poul II”) beatification which will take place on May 1st. This is attempt to steal this important date. Wojtyla, this guy, with golden rings, helped to destroy revolutionary movement of liberation theology and he was doing this alongside with latinamerica regimes. He was also silent on church pedophilia, blocked the reforms within catholic church and was a political friend of working class enemies like Reagan and Thatcher.

We wish more courage to the comrades who have a policeman inside theirs heads, which does not allow them to take radical actions, even when that’s not mean serious risk.

We send greetings to our comrades from Silesia in Poland, who as a first in this country made a small Solidarity action with Cells of Fire prisoners.

SOLIDARITY WITH CONSPIRACY CELLS OF FIRE, REVOLUTIONARY STRUGGLE AND URBAN GUERILLA !

SOLIDARITY WITH TENANTS PROTESTS IN POLAND !

FIRE TO THE PRISONS !

Camilo & Carlos are out of prison!

Today (April 29), two more compañeros have left the prison in exchange for being under house arrest. Camilo Perez and Carlos Riveros, join Rodolfo Retamales, Pablo Morales and Vinicio Aguilar, on having been granted release from prison this week.

However, although Carlos and Camilo were released, Francisco Solar and Felipe Guerra, were not granted release and so they shall remain in prison. Undoubtedly bad news for those who hoped to see them soon on the streets. Especially now that they are staying alone in their cells and recovering from their long hunger strike that ended this past week.

For Omar, Felipe, Francisco, Monica, Andrea and the compañeros on house arrest, all our strength!

The Compañerxs have Stopped their Hunger Strike

Today, the compañerxs, imprisoned by the “Bombs Case” frame up have decided to stop the now 65 day hunger strike. Regarding the decision they have taken, we have not heard any official statements from them so we will wait to see what they have to say.

Nonetheless, the fight for their freedom, continues and now we must support them in their recovery after the long and draining hunger strike, not only materially but also morally, as has been done so far. Solidarity does not stop. Our many strengths go out to them.

Fear can not stop solidarity…solidarity destroys cages!

Letter from Mónika Caballero from the Penal Hospital

from Viva la Anarquia, translated by War on Society:

“Hand extended to the comrade
Fist closed to the enemy”

I write to you from one of the most terrifying parts of the Chilean extermination centers, the penal hospital.

It is quite difficult to describe the atrocities of this place. Supposedly for the care of physical-psychological health, the jailers have required my hospitalization in this place, because during the “Holy week” there are no doctors in the female penitentiary.

With a permanent (24-hour) custodian literally at the foot of the bed, the days pass excessively slowly. I see people passing with tuberculosis, sick prisoners, many self-harmers, etc… from all the prisons of Santiago.

The hate keeps my head high; no jailer (whether white- or green-clad) will bow me in the slightest.

Although for many there are things that they have not appreciated… my anti-authoritarian chest swells with pride and gratitude before the dignified warriors who create and destroy with their gestures of solidarity in many corners in all the world.

Despite more chains, walls, and vigilant eyes, the objective has not changed: the destruction of all forms of domination!!

Without being sure that they read these lines, sisters and brothers who fly high, very high, far from cameras and uniforms… your flight is nourishment for the heart.

A strong embrace to all the irreducibles around the world, especially to the comrades of the Cells of Fire who have demonstrated that solidarity is a weapon.

Yesterday, today, and forever… No god No master.

To the streets, prisoners of the bombs case arrested August 14!!!
On Hunger Strike since February 21.

Pablo & Vinicio Released from Prison! Begin House Arrest.

During a hearing in the Octavo Juzgado de Garantía de Santiago, the court decided to revoke the detention of Vinicio Aguilar Mery, and put him back on house arrest. Some hours before the Santiago Court of Appeals had ordered the same measure for Pablo Morales Fuhrimann. Both have been imprisoned by the Chilean state under the “Bombs Case”.

Now 6 prisoners of the “Bombs Case” are still held in the high security prison of Santiago mainting a hunger strike that has reached 64 days. The two women, Andrea and Monica, are in the prison hospital of Santiago.

The investigation was closed on March 14, so trial preparation is expec ted to begin soon. The case is surrounded by controversy, from the use of the Anti-Terrorism Law tothe latest allegations against the prosecution of trying to offer money to potential witnesses against the 14.

Bank Attacked in Olympia, WA (USA)

At around 3:15 AM on Monday morning the Bank of America on the west-side of Olympia had it’s windows smashed. This action happened due to the week-long (From the 14th-21st) call out for solidarity with Chilean Hunger Strikers, albeit we arrived fashionably late. Though it is clear the state consistently tries to isolate our struggles, even the 6,000 miles that separate Olympia from Santiago fail to mitigate the collective rage that we all feel for the state and capital. We do not do this out of charity but out of affinity, an understanding that our struggles for the annihilation of the state and capital are intrinsically connected. Because we refuse to cling to the ruins of the society that has already destroyed everything we care about, whether we are rolling with a pack or on our own, we will continue to confront their domination in a multitude of ways. And we will continue our attacks.

Much Love to the 14A
Solidarity to all those who refuse to be defeated, disillusioned, or recuperated in our on-going struggle for the destruction of this society and those who protect it.

We’ll be back
